Astelco offers different tower systems from tree meters to eight meters height. Depending on the design the hight can be variable. These towers can be errected on side without any external tools, meaning that only two to four people are necessary to errect the tower and put it into operation. On top of the tower instrumentation of any kind, as well as Astelco’s retractable enclosures can be mounted.

This lightweight and very rigid design allows optimum protection of the equipment and very short opening / closing cycles. Closing is tested on windspeeds of over 100 km/h.
3. Domes |

For optimum protection of any observatory telescope, fully computerized observatory domes are available. From the smallest to the largest dome, high-tech reinforced fiberglass material in various wall thickness with different insulation values ensures that these domes can be used in moderate climates as well as in desert climates with permanent inside air conditioning to keep daytime temperature in the dome on the level of the expected temperature at night.
ASTELO observatory domes are available from 2.3m Ø to 12m Ø.
